C.A.T. International commences work on Estidama Package 6 for ADNOC

In 2025, C.A.T. International together with Qapqa began construction on Estidama Package 6 for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This project is part of ADNOC's Estidama Programme, aimed at enhancing the Sales Gas Pipeline Network with new pipelines and supporting facilities to ensure reliable and efficient natural gas delivery across the region.

Estidama Package 6

The Estidama Package 6 project in Abu Dhabi involves the construction of a comprehensive gas pipeline network and associated facilities. Key features and technical highlights include:

• Installation of high-capacity pipelines with X65 steel and diameters up to 52” for efficient gas transport.
• Automatic welding of the root-pass with copper backing and filling/capping using Advanced Pulse (P-GMAW).
• Deployment of PWT XCS automatic welding systems to ensure consistent weld quality, operational safety, and high production efficiency.
• Execution under challenging environmental conditions, including extreme heat and desert terrain, requiring advanced logistics and workforce coordination.
• Integration with existing ADNOC gas infrastructure to expand transmission capacity and enhance reliability for domestic and industrial gas users.
