56 Inch Pipeline PQT Completed with 2 Welds Using Automatic Welding

 𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬. That’s all it took to complete the PQT for a 56” pipeline.

We’ve successfully completed the Procedure Qualification Test (PQT) for our valuable client Albawani | البواني Pipelines for the Abqaiq–Yanbu (AY‑1L) Section 6 pipeline replacement project in Saudi Arabia.

Technical outcome:
• 2 welded joints performed to complete PQT
• Pipe diameter: 56”
• Wall thickness: 12.98 mm
• Executed under real field conditions

The result confirms stable weld performance under field conditions, with consistent process control and minimal qualification output.
Execution supported by Qapqa automatic welding systems, ensuring repeatability and weld quality for large-diameter pipeline applications.

PQT approved. Ready for production phase.
