35 welds in ten hour shift on the MGS 3 Package 9 pipeline

On 20 December our team completed a major achievement on the Master Gas System 3 – Package 9 pipeline for our valued client Albawani | البواني.
During a single ten hour day shift the crew produced 35 welds on a 56 inch pipeline with a wall thickness of 17.70 mm. This was made possible by deploying four Qapqa PWT Auto XCS automatic welding systems on site.

The performance of the team and the welding systems highlights the consistent quality and efficiency that automated welding brings to large diameter pipeline projects. Smooth execution, stable parameters and repeatable results are essential in demanding field environments and this success demonstrates that in full.
