The Internal Line-Up Clamp is a specialized tool used in the pipeline and fabrication industry to ensure perfect alignment of pipes before welding. By gripping the inside diameter of the pipe, the ILUC provides precise and stable positioning of the pipes, allowing welders to achieve strong, high-quality joints with minimal rework.

The ILUC slides easily into the open end of a pipe. At first, it sits loose, small enough to move freely. Then, with a simple turn of a handle or the push of air or hydraulic pressure, the expanding shoes inside the clamp press outward. Like strong hands pushing evenly in all directions, the shoes grip the inner wall of the pipe with steady force forcing both pipe ends into perfect alignment. Any small difference in roundness or fit is corrected instantly. The pipes become flush, concentric, and ready to weld.

From the outside, nothing gets in the welder’s way. The joint is clear, open, and perfectly held, allowing welding works to be performed quickly and securely. Once the welding is done, the clamp relaxes, the shoes retract, and the ILUC slides out just as easily as it went in.
