Qapqa has successfully completed multiple PQTs using its automatic welding technology for our client PETROJET!

Our team has successfully qualified automated welding procedures for:

A 40” pipeline with a 39.9 mm wall thickness
A 30” pipeline with a 43.9 mm wall thickness
A 30” pipeline with a 37.1 mm wall thickness

All PQTs were completed in just 18 workdays.

What is a PQT?

A Procedure Qualification Test is a formal test used to validate that a specific Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) can produce welds that meet required mechanical and quality standards for a given project
