Qapqa’s automatic welding equipment is playing a key role in the VMOS project—Argentina’s most ambitious oil infrastructure initiative in decades. This 𝟰𝟯𝟳 𝗸𝗺, 𝟯𝟬-𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗫𝟳𝟬 pipeline will connect Allen to Punta Colorada, unlocking the full export potential of the Vaca Muerta shale formation.
As part of our integrated approach, Qapqa not only rents out high-performance welding equipment—we also offer it 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲, mostly paired with comprehensive training. In this case, we provided SACDE’s team with tailored, hands-on instruction. As a result, they are now fully self-supporting, confidently operating our systems and independently executing and this critical phase of the project.
With an initial capacity of 550,000 barrels per day—expandable to 700,000 bpd—VMOS is set to become a cornerstone of Argentina’s energy future. The project includes a tank farm, offshore monobuoys, and a state-of-the-art terminal, backed by a USD 3 billion investment and cutting-edge construction technologies.
To everyone involved,
