C.A.T. International

In 2025, C.A.T. International began construction on GCS - Margham Pipeline, part of Dubai’s Sunrise Program for DUSUP & DPE in UAE. The Sunrise GCS Margham Pipeline is a strategic development that enhances the flow of natural gas within the Dubai grid. The pipeline connects the Gas Control Station with the Margham field, which serves both as an active production area and as Dubai’s strategic gas storage facility. This link supports the distribution of dry gas to key industrial and utility users across Dubai.

About C.A.T. International

The company delivers major oil and gas and energy infrastructure projects, including pipeline construction, commissioning, and automated welding operations. For the Sunrise GCS Margham project, C.A.T. International applies its engineering capability and workforce expertise to deliver critical gas infrastructure for Dubai’s growing energy system.

GCS - Margham

The Sunrise GCS Margham Pipeline extends across fifty four kilometers of desert terrain, connecting two of Dubai’s most important gas nodes. It is designed to support stable gas flow to the Dubai grid by linking the Margham storage fields with the central Gas Control Station in Jebel Al.

The Sunrise GCS Margham Pipeline enhances Dubai’s gas transmission system by improving flexibility and capacity between the Margham field and the central Gas Control Station. Margham serves both as a production source and as a strategic storage facility that balances seasonal gas demand across the Emirate. The upgraded connection supports reliable delivery to Dubai’s power generation, desalination, and industrial users

By combining C.A.T. International’s construction expertise with the Qapqa advanced automatic welding technology, the Sunrise GCS Margham Pipeline strengthens Dubai’s natural gas network, supports the strategic role of the Margham storage fields, and ensures safe, reliable, and high capacity gas delivery across the Emirate.
